UK: Voting intention – 13th October 2021

Tories maintain 4 point lead as Johnson’s approval reaches lowest point since the general election

The Conservatives are on 41% in our latest voting intention poll (+2 on our last poll) with Labour on 37% (+2) leaving the Tories 4 points ahead. The Lib Dems are on 7% (-1), with the Greens on 5% (-1) and the SNP on 5% (-1).

Boris Johnson’s approval rating as prime minister has reached net -18% (32% approve, 50% disapprove), the lowest we have recorded since the 2019 general election.

Fieldwork was conducted from 13th to 15th October 2021. Please note: fieldwork had finished by the time the tragic news emerged of the murder of Sir David Amess MP.
