Women’s Prevention Campaign

On behalf of GambleAware and Freuds+, we ran a project looking at the gambling habits and experiences of women aged 18-49 who gamble frequently*.

The study looked at several different aspects of gambling including women’s experiences of gambling harm, their attitudes towards gambling and motivations for doing so, as well as perceived stigma associated with female gamblers.

It also looked at how the cost-of-living crisis might have an effect on the gambling habits of this demographic over the coming year or so.

*Defined as those who have gambled in some way in the last month

**N.B. when using these tables please do not report on subgroups where the base size is lower than 50.
