Political Polling 4th December 2019

The Conservatives continue to lead 15 points

There is not much movement in the polls this week. The Conservative lead has remained at 15 points with 46% of the vote share. Labour remain at 31% of the vote share.

As with last week, we have accounted for the release of nominations in each seat, so that respondents now only see the parties that are standing in their seat when answering who they will vote for.

Tories hit their ceiling amongst Leave voters

The Conservatives appear to have reached their ceiling with the Leave vote, sitting at around three in four of them. However, despite Labour’s slow reclaiming of the Remainers votes lost to the Lib Dems, the Conservatives have managed to slowly shore up some of their Remainer voters to leave the headline voting figures unchanged.
