Adviser Voice: Q3 2025

The events occurring through 2025 have shaped the financial landscape of the UK. While interest and inflation rates have begun to drop, the country is still grappling with a cost-of-living crisis and concern remains high over stagnating economic growth. Investors and businesses have also felt the impacts of a difficult economy as rising costs hit their bottom line.

The third quarter of this year has seen a number of challenges for the governing Labour Party, and speculation of tax changes in the November budget has begun months beforehand. With Labour now having being in power for more than a year, have recent events impacted the way UK advisers view the state of the current economy and their clients’ financial situations.

Opinium have launched the third wave of its Adviser Voice report for 2025, continuing to track financial attitudes and the behaviour of financial advisers across the UK. We also captured the adviser view of the upcoming November budget, and any early concerns they are hearing from their clients about potential announcements.

Research will be conducted quarterly, providing insight into the changing thoughts, aspirations, concerns and behaviour of these key groups.
