2 in 5 Americans are more likely to use telehealth solutions due to the coronavirus

Our survey, conducted on behalf of G&S Business Communications, found that 76% of Americans are concerned about delaying non-essential care due to COVID-19 and not being able to keep regular doctor’s visits during the pandemic. Enter telehealth—a solution that keeps doctors and patients safe in times of social distancing and relieves overcrowded hospitals.

But while 2 in 5 Americans say they are more likely to use telehealth during this health crisis, misconceptions remain about access. As many as 82% of Americans don’t think they have access to telehealth despite three quarters of U.S. hospitals offering teleconferencing capabilities and most US states maintaining a telehealth commercial payer statute.
