The surge in working from home: the effects on mental wellbeing

We’ve seen a dramatic rise in working from home due to coronavirus, but what impact is this having on workers? What impact is it having on the mental wellbeing of workers and managers? Are they feeling supported by their employers, and how are parents coping with working from home with their children in the house?

To answer these questions, we surveyed 1,250 workers to understand how this sudden increase in working from home is impacting workers and their wellbeing. Whilst workers are feeling more relaxed, they are also more isolated and there is concern about the long-term impact this working situation might have on their mental health.
