The Conservatives have a seven point lead over Labour in our latest voting intention poll.

In a general election tomorrow, 38% would vote Conservative, 31% would vote Labour, 13% UKIP and 6% Lib Dem.

Leader Approval Ratings

Theresa May’s approval ratings continue to steadily slip. In our latest poll she has a net approval rating of +14%, down from +18% in mid-November. Currently 42% approve†of the way she is handling her job and 27% disapprove.†

Performance on Europe

The Conservatives remain the party most trusted to lead the Brexit negotiations with the rest of the European Union (30%), with†Labour (14%) and UKIP (12%) in†a relatively distant second and third place respectively.

However, the proportion of UK adults trusting the†Tories most has dropped slightly from 33% to 30% since mid-October and the†proportion that approve of the way Theresa May†is handling the UK’s exit from the EU is down from 37% to 33%.†
